functional, and durable. The
Standard comes with our newly
improved Carpeted Deck. This
has been our most popular
BedSlide for all traditional
pickups (non-Avalanche/EXT)
and utility vans. Constructed
with welded steel, durable
powder coat finish, 4 sealed
roller bearings, 3 locking
positions with twist T-handle,
aluminum side rails, 3/4"
CDX plywood covered with a
synthetic gray carpet. The
Standard will hold up to 1200
pounds of evenly distributed
weight. Best yet is our mounting
system. Once the BedSlide
is installed, two people can
easily remove the entire BedSlide
from your truck in minutes
(unless you opt to bolt the
BedSlide in).

The
Standard WeatherDeck Bedslide

The
Standard WeatherDeck is EXACTLY
the Standard Carpet, other than
the decking material. Designed for
all traditional pickups (non-Avalanche/EXT)
and utility vans. Constructed with
welded steel, durable power coat
finish, 4 sealed roller bearings,
3 locking positions with twist T-handle,
and aluminum side rails. The DECK,
however, is a 3/4" 7-ply marine-grade
plywood laminated both top and bottom
for the maximum weather resistance.
The product is trademarked at TufDec
by Spectrum and was designed for
outdoor stages. We cover the skid-resistant
top with a recycled 1/4" rubber
mat for the most durable surface
we offer. The Standard WeatherDeck
will hold up to 1200 pounds of evenly
distributed weight. Best yet is
our mounting system. Once the BedSlide
is installed, two people can easily
remove the entire BedSlide from
your truck in minutes (unless you
opt to bolt the BedSlide in). |

BedSlide F.A.Q.
1. Dimensions:
How tall is the BedSlide?
All BedSlides except the XL Series:
4 1/2" from the top of the deck
to the floor of the truck. XL
Series: 3 1/2" at the tailgate,
2 1/2" at the mid-gate.
2. Extension: How far
does it extend?
Roughly 80% depending on the length
of the truck. 16" of the bedslide
must remain in the truck bed to
support the extension, but generally,
it's about an 80% extension.
3. Capacity: How much
weight will it hold?
1000 pounds of evenly distributed
weight depending on model.
4. Decking: What is the
Decking Material?
Classic BedSlides use a 3/4"”
CDX plywood overlaid with an indoor/outdoor
synthetic carpet. XL can be with
Carpet or Weatherdeck surface
On the WEATHERDECK and Contractor
Grades we use a 3/4" Marine-grade
7-ply plywood that has a vapor-barrier
lamination both top and bottom
and then overlaid with a 1/4"
rubber mat.
5. Assembly time: Does
it come assembled?
All BedSlides come fully assembled
and ready to install.
6. Installation: How long
does it take to install?
Our patented installation makes
complete installation fast and
easy. It truly takes about 15
minutes to install a Standard,
Weatherdeck and Avalanche. The
Contractor Grade BedSlides have
4 bearing s that must be removed
to remove the top deck in order
to install the lower frame. The
CG takes about 30 minutes to install.
If bolting the BedSlide is desired,
additional time is necessary.
7. Removal: Can the BedSlide
be removed easily?
Once installed, the entire BedSlide
can be removed in less than 1
minute. (if not bolted)
8. Customization: Can
I order a special size?
Simple dimension changes are generally
no problem but do take extra time
to process. If in doubt, call
IFW, Inc or your nearest BedSlide
Dealer.
9. Customization: Is it
easy to customize the BedSlide?
With the plywood platform, customizing
your BedSlide to fit your specific
needs is easy. Many people attach
custom boxes, racks or dividers
maximizing the BedSlide's use.
10. Extension: Can I drive
with the BedSlide in the extended
position?
No, for liability purposes NEVER
drive with the BedSlide extended.
11. Weight: how much does
the BedSlide weigh?
Weight varies (50 lbs to 250 lbs)depending
on your truck-bed length. For
shortboxes, 188 lbs is typical.
; forlongboxes, 216 lbs; and for
Contractor Grades longboxes, 335
lbs.
12. Will I void the warranty
if I permanent mount equipment
to the BedSlide?
No, as long as you do not exceed
the stated weight capacity, customizing
your BedSlide will not void the
warranty as wear on the deck is
not covered anyway
13. Liners: Can I install
a BedSlide when I have a liner/
mat in the bed?
In most cases, yes. Our dimensions
recognize the likelihood of these
types of liners including BedRugs
, spray-ins and drop ins. Please
beware, however, that the weight
of the BedSlide and cargo MAY
damage the plastic liner. Furthermore,
bedliners canalter the stability
of BedSlides.
14. Do I need to bolt
my Bedslide into the truck?
No. All Bedslides use a patented
3 point mounting system. We pre-punch
the frame cross members to allow
for thourough bolting if desired.
Note:(Estimated
shipping time on Bedslides is two
to four weeks.)

Bedslide manufacturer which makes
it possible for us to offer a
great price and the free shipping
option on this product. If you
need your Bedslide sooner, we
may have distributors who may
have your model in stock so that
we can ship it to you sooner.
However, there will be a freight
surcharge on these items. Please

and a freight quote on an expedited
